2022.01.16 19:32 thesword88 Seemingly strong deck loses to random core common creatures
Hoping for some constructive feedback on the deck I have been working on. Here is the deck code from GU Decks:
I was pretty excited to play this deck during ranked weekend. I didn't even get 11 wins. I got rocked several times by decks that have just random core common creatures. Super disappointing. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
BTW here are some cards I own that might make more sense than some of the ones I am currently playing..
8 drops: Grendel, Night Terror.. Ares' Runeblade
7 drops: Tartessian Mob
6 drops: Bast's claws (1x of this one)
5 drops: Orcish Elite, Overproof brew
4 drops: Mountain Raider,
3 drops: Call to Arms, signal scouts
2 drops: Avalanche strike, bladecaster, Enduring Shield, Ramshackle Hatchet
1 drops: Auric rush, fury, vicious rend

2022.01.16 19:32 117003060 Audyssey is setting one of my rears distance as 7' closer than it actually is. Is this due to room acoustics?
I've run it 5 times and it does this each time while getting the others correct. I am set up in a L shaped room and the rear right which it keeps setting as 7' closer than it is sits on the side of the room that has the concave. It is actually setting the rear at the same distance as the front right. I know I have the mic and everything set up properly. I suspect this is not a problem and simply due to the acoustics of my room. I just wanted to ask if such a thing is normal to see? Thanks.

2022.01.16 19:32 xtratoothpaste Broken pixel 3a, broken pixel 4a - time for a change
Both of my pixels broke in a similar fashion. Some contact with surfaces and suddenly the screen is flashing.
As much as i love thr pixel phones, and the fingerprint sensor on the back, i think im done with pixels due to fear of not lasting more than a year.
Im in the US with tmobile and i want a new phone for ideally <$600 but if Im really sold on a phone I could pay more or way less..
My issue is all phones look basically the same and idk how to shop for them like i used to, so i could use some advice

2022.01.16 19:32 Enceez How do I convince those not worthy to buy the game?
My friends are into CoD Warzone... still. I hope that is enough context
We continuously discuss how we need to shift to another game, so they must be open to playing other games but the checky brecky that is EFT is head eyes'd faster than those gas analyses were swiped at the start of this wipe, and it is driving me to despair.
Help me EFT community, how do I convince them that EFT is the solution and make them accept Nikita as the one true god?

2022.01.16 19:32 Mister_Blobby_ked Call for Charles Byrne's skeleton, "the Irish giant" to be repatriated to Ireland
>The author Hilary Mantel has called for the Royal College of Surgeons to repatriate the skeleton of an Irish “giant” whose bones remain in storage in London two centuries after he asked to be buried at sea.
>Charles Byrne had a genetic form of gigantism that caused him to grow to more than 2.31 meters (7ft 6in) tall. His height made him a celebrity in 18th-century London, and while he was still alive he went to great lengths to try to ensure his skeleton was not put on display after his death – a fate then usually reserved for executed criminals.
> But despite his wishes, and his plans for a sea burial, after Byrne’s death in 1783 his remains were acquired by the pioneering Scottish surgeon and anatomist John Hunter, possibly after he bribed an undertaker to switch corpses.
>It turned out to be a rare and mysterious gene mutation, discovered only in 2006. The researchers then found the mutation in four families from Northern Ireland, near where Mr. Byrne was born. Following a hunch, they decided to ask whether Mr. Byrne had had the mutation, too, and whether the mutation indicated that the four families were related to him. Their hunch was right.
>The group, led by Dr. Marta Korbonits, professor of endocrinology and metabolism at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, reports its finding in Thursday’s issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.
>Symptom-producing pituitary tumors are rare, and those caused by an inherited mutated gene are rarer still. At most only 5 percent of people with pituitary tumors have them in their families.
>The tumors can lead to disfigurement — patients develop bulging foreheads and large jaws, hands and feet — and chronic severe headaches.
> In London, Dr. Korbonits said she had been aware of the Irish Giant because of her work on pituitary tumors. She suspected he might have had the AIP mutation when she saw a drawing of him standing with twin brothers who also were giants, who came from a nearby village, and who were said to be related to Mr. Byrne. That, she said, “suggested it was a genetic disease.”
>And she had found the gene in members of four families from the same region of Ireland. The investigators calculated that the giant and the four contemporary Irish families had a common ancestor who lived about 1,500 years ago. And, they report, there are probably 200 to 300 people living today who have inherited that same mutation.
