2022.01.16 18:52 Lowerprint sex is real. we can't just ignore sex because it makes tranners feel better, there are medical differences!

im sure that no transgendered person has ever even considered that there are medical differences related to sex, let alone have to use language referring to sex rather than gender during transition. they all just use neopronouns and eat hot chip while ignoring the biological reality that the term man and male are completely interchangeable. as a normal person, i know more about the language of trans healthcare than any dumb tranny ever could.

2022.01.16 18:52 ShaiHuludNM Can anyone with experience help me compare and contrast Madison, WI and Grand Rapids, MI?

I know GR is a bigger city, bit other demographics seem similar. We are looking for a nice safe city with reasonable crime, access to nature, affordable taxes. We are a couple without kids and one is a work from home and I am a nurse, so we aren’t super worried about finding employment. I appreciate larger towns in the 200-300k range more, but I could manage in a small city. Which one should we choose?!

2022.01.16 18:52 El_Zapp This game is fantastic when it’s at it’s best

Alright, last time I complained that is was facing only vampires, but here me out, this time around I got the full amount of archetypes. And there are so much of them (those probably all have some name that I don’t know, please excuse me for that):
Pirates! Self hurting SK Vampires Wild Hunt Thriving insects or something like that Dwarfs (so cool, please tell me that is at least pro rank viable) Handbuff ST NG that cycled through his whole deck in round 3 NG that turns your units against you …
The list go’s on. The last 10 fights or so I didn’t get the same deck as enemy twice. Boy that was fun (even though I lost quite a few of those lol).
On my rank this game has so many options. I‘m honestly blown away.

Winner She Who Became the Sun Shelley Parker-Chan A bold, queer, and lyrical reimagining of the rise of the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty. In 1345, China lies under harsh Mongol rule. For the starving peasants of the Central Plains, greatness is something found only in stories. When the Zhu family’s eighth-born son, Zhu Chongba, is given a fate of greatness, everyone is mystified as to how it will come to pass. The fate of nothingness received by the family’s clever and capable second daughter, on the other hand, is only as expected. When a bandit attack orphans the two children, though, it is Zhu Chongba who succumbs to despair and dies. Desperate to escape her own fated death, the girl uses her brother's identity to enter a monastery as a young male novice. There, propelled by her burning desire to survive, Zhu learns she is capable of doing whatever it takes, no matter how callous, to stay hidden from her fate. picowombat
1st Runner-Up Detransition, Baby Torrey Peters Reese almost had it all: a loving relationship with Amy, an apartment in New York City, a job she didn't hate. She had scraped together what previous generations of trans women could only dream of: a life of mundane, bourgeois comforts. The only thing missing was a child. But then her girlfriend, Amy, detransitioned and became Ames, and everything fell apart. Ames isn't happy either. He thought detransitioning to live as a man would make life easier, but that decision cost him his relationship with Reese—and losing her meant losing his only family. Even though their romance is over, he longs to find a way back to her. When Ames's boss and lover, Katrina, reveals that she's pregnant with his baby—and that she's not sure whether she wants to keep it—Ames wonders if this is the chance he's been waiting for. sleepybear4
2nd Runner-Up Iron Widow Xiran Jay Zhao The boys of Huaxia dream of pairing up with girls to pilot Chrysalises, giant transforming robots that can battle the mecha aliens that lurk beyond the Great Wall. It doesn't matter that the girls often die from the mental strain. When 18-year-old Zetian offers herself up as a concubine-pilot, it's to assassinate the ace male pilot responsible for her sister's death. But she gets her vengeance in a way nobody expected—she kills him through the psychic link between pilots and emerges from the cockpit unscathed. To tame her unnerving yet invaluable mental strength, she is paired up with Li Shimin, the strongest and most controversial male pilot in Huaxia. But now that Zetian has had a taste of power, she will not cower so easily. She will miss no opportunity to leverage their combined might and infamy to survive attempt after attempt on her life, until she can figure out exactly why the pilot system works in its misogynist way—and stop more girls from being sacrificed. phanton97

1st Runner-Up Harlem Shuffle Colson Whitehead "Ray Carney was only slightly bent when it came to being crooked..." To his customers and neighbors on 125th street, Carney is an upstanding salesman of reasonably priced furniture, making a decent life for himself and his family. He and his wife Elizabeth are expecting their second child, and if her parents on Striver's Row don't approve of him or their cramped apartment across from the subway tracks, it's still home. Cash is tight, especially with all those installment-plan sofas, so if his cousin Freddie occasionally drops off the odd ring or necklace, Ray doesn't ask where it comes from. He knows a discreet jeweler downtown who doesn't ask questions, either. Then Freddie falls in with a crew who plan to rob the Hotel Theresa—the "Waldorf of Harlem"—and volunteers Ray's services as the fence. The heist doesn't go as planned; they rarely do. Now Ray has a new clientele, one made up of shady cops, vicious local gangsters, two-bit pornographers, and other assorted Harlem lowlifes. mylastnameandanumber

By midnight the party will be completely out of control. By morning, the Riva mansion will have gone up in flames.
